As a resident of Vancouver, I can safely say that for many of us who aren't as focussed on Marijuana as the cliches of BC would indicate, we're still concerned about this struggle as a matter of sovreignity.

I'm not going to engage in stereotypical "American bashing", but when law enforcement officials of another nation can storm the headquarters of a legitimate Canadian political party, and arrest it's leader for crimes that aren't illegal within the confines of our nation (technically we're not a 'country'), and do so with the cooperation of our authorities, well.....


It's f*cking scary.
